The Laredo Lobos moved to the af2 from the Intense Football League, where they struggled to win games or gain fan support. The same was true in 2007. A combined 825 fans saw the last two Lobos home games, as the team finished at 1-15. The Lobos was the af2's second attempt at putting arena football in Laredo and it also failed after just one year.
