The New York Knights only lasted one season due to their inability to win. With almost all of their losses coming by two or more scores, the Knights were just not a good product. The Knights’ only wins were both against the Los Angeles Cobras, a team that finished 5-7-1. The Knights were the first of three AFL teams to play in New York. The other two are the CityHawks (1997-1998) and the Dragons, who still play.
