The Lehigh Valley Steelhawks had a great first season in the NAL, going 9-1 and hosting a playoff game. Warren Smith Jr was the quarterback, passing for 1,953 yards, 56 scores and just eight interceptions. Darius Prince caught twenty scores and Warren Oliver grabbed fifteen more. The team held a 43-29 fourth quarter lead against Columbus in the semifinals, but gave up 22 points and lost 52-50. A rouge with 56 seconds left would ultimately doom the Steelhawks. In 2018, the team lost its ownership and was floated by other owners in the league. As a result, the team went 0-15 and folded after the 2018 season.
