The Maine Mammoths were the first ever indoor football team in Portland, Maine. The team came on late following a 1-7 start, finishing at 7-8 and missing the postseason by a game to Columbus. The win streak included a 55-29 victory over eventual champions Carolina, in which the Mammoths led 24-0. Jonathan Bane was the primary quarterback, throwing for 2,689 yards and 59 scores to 18 picks. Devin Wilson caught 27 of those scores.
