The LaCrosse Night Train spent two miserable seasons in the NIFL. In 2002, the team won just one game and the average margin of loss was 26 points. The team’s only win came at home over the Wyoming Calvary, 40-26. The most points the Night Train scored in a game was 49. In 2003, the team’s average margin of loss was down to fifteen points, and the team won four games. The biggest highlight for the Night Train was a 70-27 drubbing of the Lexington Horsemen. After finishing at 4-10, the franchise would fold.
